2009 Ohio Construction Conference attracts 300 industry leaders

 

More than 300 industry leaders gathered at COSI on February 17, 2009 for the Ohio Construction Conference, a day of management education for owners, architects and engineers, contractors and other industry professionals.

With support from 40 associations representing the entire spectrum of businesses in commercial construction, the Conference featured sessions on sustainable building, interoperability and business management in a difficult economy. 

It provided a unique networking opportunity, including a roundtable session in which 22 area owners facilitated small-group discussions on how to make the construction process better for everyone involved.

 

Mark Schmunk (The Pizzuti Companies), left, spoke about the impact the right team can make on a project’s success as Pat Halaiko (Custom Air Conditioning and Heating Co.) took notes for the record.  All notes from the Conference roundtables will be available on the Builders Exchange website in March.
