Invest in the Future . . . With the BX Certified SUPERINTENDENT Program

To become a BX Certified Superintendent - Level I

  • Students must attend the BX session Is Field Supervision For You? as part of the Level I curriculum.  (This session is offered free of charge).
  • Students may take courses in any order in either Level I or II, unless there is a required prerequisite for a specific course.
  • Students must complete all courses in both tracks (first and second year) of Level I for recognition as a BX Certified Superintendent - Level I.

To become BX Certified Superintendent - Level II

  • Students must attend the BX session Where Do I Go From Here? as part of the Level II curriculum. (This session is offered free of charge).
  • Students must have completed all requirements pertaining to a BX Certified Superintendent - Level I within the consecutive five-year time frame.
  • Students must complete all courses listed in both tracks (first and second year) of Level II for recognition as a BX Certified Superintendent - Level II.
  • Students may take courses in any order in either Level I or II, unless there is a required prerequisite for a class.

BX Certified Superintendent Schedule

Below is the required curriculum for both Level I and Level II. The BX recommends that students attend these courses in the following sequence. However, students may enroll for courses in any order, unless there is a prerequisite for a specific class.
