Meet the 2007 rising leaders
The Rising Leaders Institute (RLI), supported by a grant from the Builders Exchange Foundation, is an intensive, 14-session program focused on building management skills and business knowledge of high potential individuals, and preparing them to serve as the future leaders in the construction industry. Rising Leader: Sean Edwards Company: Edwards Steel Title: Estimator Years in Construction Industry: 1 Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Hospitality Management from the University of Kentucky Rising Leader Comments: “I hope to gain a more diverse perspective of our industry, and meet peers working in a similar role.” Participants in the Rising Leaders Institute are required to have a champion from their company, a manager who acts as their mentor throughout the program. Edwards’ mentor is David Edwards, Jr., president of Edwards Steel.
