Meet the 2007 rising leaders
The Rising Leaders Institute (RLI), supported by a grant from the Builders Exchange Foundation, is an intensive, 14-session program focused on building management skills and business knowledge of high potential individuals, and preparing them to serve as the future leaders in the construction industry. Rising Leader: Adam Drexel Company: Ruscilli Construction Co., Inc. Title: Project Manager Years in Construction Industry: 12 Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Construction Management Technology and a Master’s Degree from Bowling Green State University Rising Leader Comments: “I hope to improve my leadership skills and bring revitalized business principles back to the work place. The classes have been excellent with delivering new ideas and process refinement techniques and showing them in practical applications. Attending the classes with my peers has been a great way to get to know some new people in the construction industry, too.” Participants in the Rising Leaders Institute are required to have a champion from their company, a manager who acts as their mentor throughout the program. Drexel’s mentor is Tony Ruscilli, vice president of operations for Ruscilli Construction Co., Inc.
