Meet the 2007 rising leaders
The Rising Leaders Institute (RLI), supported by a grant from the Builders Exchange Foundation, is an intensive, 14-session program focused on building management skills and business knowledge of high potential individuals, and preparing them to serve as the future leaders in the construction industry. Rising Leader: Domonic DeLuca Company: Turner Construction Co. Title: Project Superintendent Years in Construction Industry: 8 Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio University; MBA from Capital University Rising Leader Comments: “I would definitely recommend this program to other young professionals. I have already met a lot of great individuals which I hope will grow into long lasting relationships.” Participants in the Rising Leaders Institute are required to have a champion from their company, a manager who acts as their mentor throughout the program. DeLuca’s mentor is Rick Lombardi, vice president and Ohio operations manager with Turner Construction Co.
