Compensation Consultants, Inc. (CCI), the BX choice to work with member firms in controlling their individual workers’ compensation costs and Ohio’s leading Third Party Administrator (TPA), announces their new company name – CareWorks Consultants, Inc. (CCI). 

As a member of The CareWorks Family of Companies since 2006, the CCI name is now aligned with the CareWorks’ companies leading brand recognition and reputation for workplace excellence.

This change in name has no direct impact on any CCI customers. They are still CCI, and clients are still served by the same management team and associates who are and will continue to aggressively implement, manage and oversee their clients’ workers’ compensation programs.

Maintaining a strong safety culture is the foundation for a good rating with the BWC. An established safety program will protect employees, equipment and property; provide financial strength; and maintain a company’s reputation.

 The BX Safety Program was designed with our members in mind. It is the strength behind the group and is dedicated to providing your staff ongoing, construction-specific safety education and information.

The Exchange program assists construction companies with their accident prevention and compliance issues.

As a BX Group member, your firm receives a free, personalized safety program, designed specifically for construction and reviewed in a training session with your safety designee.

The BX Safety Program also offers training courses (at a dramatically discounted rate for BX Group members,) a print and video resource library and an annual awards program.

Sponsored by the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, the Safety Council of Greater Columbus (SCGC) is a state-approved safety council offering safety training and information to all employers regardless of their affiliation with the BX.

Participation incentive from BWC:

Employers can earn a 2% workers' compensation premium discount for meeting all of the eligibility requirements and an additional 2% performance bonus for reducing either frequency or severity by 10%, or with maintenance of both frequency and severity at zero. Employers must meet all eligibility requirements to be eligible for the performance bonus. (Self-insuring employers and state agencies are excluded from the discount offer but are encouraged to participate in the safety council program.) This discount may be added to any existing Drug-Free Workplace, Premium Discount Program + and/or group rating discount.
