BX partners with RiskControl360º to offer PDP+ support

The BX PDP+ Group
Premium Discount Program Plus (PDP+) is a workers’ compensation discount program available through the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) for employers that do not qualify for group rating. Employers receive a 5% - 10% discount for participating and are eligible for an additional 5%, 10% or even 20% rebate for reducing injury frequency and severity. The total savings can be 30%!  

Participants are required to implement the 10-Step Business Plan, which is a safety and claims management plan, and submit reports to the BWC.

Compliance can be hard for employers that do not have a dedicated risk manager:

Important dates for a July 2008 program start:

• August 31, 2008 - BWC deadline to enroll in PDP+ for a July 2008 program start

• September 30, 2008 - Deadline to join the BX PDP+ Group

• October 15, 2008 - Mandatory Training “Implementing the 10-Step Business Plan”

• November 13, 2008 - Alternative Date “Implementing the 10-Step Business Plan”

• March 31, 2009 - PDP+ reports are due to the BWC

BX PDP+ Group members will be assisted with the application process and report submission. The BWC will determine if a member meets the requirements of PDP+ and whether the discount and rebate will be allocated.

If you miss the July program period, there will be another enrollment period in January.
