down on portland cement compliance Is your firm in compliance? OSHA is cracking down on firms with employees exposed to the hazards created by concrete, mortar, plaster, grout, stucco and terrazzo. Attend Portland Cement: Are You in Compliance? on Thursday, Aug. 14 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the BX to bolster your firm’s knowledge of how OSHA is approaching this hazard. Employees exposed to skin contact with strong adhesive products, or portland cement, have a duty to be in compliance with OSHA regulations. And the regulations include provisions in Subparts C, General Safety and Health Provisions; D, Occupational Health and Environmental Controls; and E, Personal Protective and Life Saving Equipment.
