Update for Construction Industry Outreach Trainers, OSHA 502  * Refresher for the OSHA 500 * This course is designed for personnel in the private sector who have completed the OSHA 500 instructor course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry and who are authorized trainers in the OSHA Outreach Training Program. It provides an update on such topics as OSHA construction standards, policies, and regulations. Trainees who successfully complete this course should be able to: describe the most current process, requirements, recommendations, and resources for the OSHA Outreach Trainer Program discuss updates in OSHA’s Construction Industry Standards and policy since 2005 explain best practices for construction industry occupational safety and health demonstrate ability to effectively deliver OSHA construction industry training as well as critique other trainers conduct themselves in an ethical manner, respecting their roles as Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainers Instructor: Tim Roberts (Safety Alliance , LLC) Date/Time: Tuesday through Thursday, Aug. 24-26, 2010 Registration: 7:30 a.m. Program: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 8 a.m. to noon on day three Location: Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, 1175 Dublin Rd., Columbus, Ohio Cost: $600 Credit Awarded: 2.5 OSHA CEU 4.34 ABIH (Safety) CM points 1 external meeting credit for safety council firms Refund Policy Tuition minus 5% administration charge will be refunded if written cancellation is received two weeks prior to the program date.  Registration is nonrefundable within two weeks of the course date. Substitutions may be made at any time, but transfers to future courses cannot be made within the two-week nonrefundable period. The university reserves the right to cancel programs if necessary. In this event, the university's liability is limited to the full refund of your registration fee. Group Discount Any organization sending three or more students to a single program and same date is entitled to a 10% discount on each registration fee. Alumni Discount Alumni and currently enrolled full-time students of the University of Cincinnati are entitled to a 10 percent discount on their registration fees.  Degree and year of graduation must accompany all registrations requesting the discount. Builders Exchange of Central Ohio is an approved host OSHA training site through the University of Cincinnati and Great Lakes Regional OTI Training Center.
