Permit-Required Confined Space Entry, OSHA 2264 This course is designed to increase your knowledge of hazards associated with confined space entry and your environment. Upon successful completion, you should be able to: define terms specific to permit-required confined space entry identify current standards governing permit required space entry procedures demonstrate the proper operation of certain testing instruments and explain their limitations describe appropriate ventilation, personal protective equipment, and emergency procedures that are necessary for entry into permit spaces Course topics include: permit space hazards entry procedures ventilation requirements personal protective equipment permit system Instructor: Ralph Oliveti, CSP (Safex) Date/Time: Tuesday through Thursday, Nov. 30 - Dec. 2 Registration: 7:30 a.m. Program: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Location: Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, 1175 Dublin Rd., Columbus, Ohio Cost: $725 Credits Awarded: 1.9 OSHA CEU 2 ABIH (Industrial Hygiene) CM points 1 external meeting credit for safety council firms Refund Policy Tuition minus 5% administration charge will be refunded if written cancellation is received two weeks prior to the program date.  Registration is nonrefundable within two weeks of the course date. Substitutions may be made at any time, but transfers to future courses cannot be made within the two-week nonrefundable period. The university reserves the right to cancel programs if necessary. In this event, the university's liability is limited to the full refund of your registration fee. Group Discount Any organization sending three or more students to a single program and same date is entitled to a 10% discount on each registration fee. Alumni Discount Alumni and currently enrolled full-time students of the University of Cincinnati are entitled to a 10 percent discount on their registration fees.  Degree and year of graduation must accompany all registrations requesting the discount.
